Wraiths of Roanoke

Adrian Paul
Adrian Paul stars in Wraiths of Roanoke

I watched Wraiths of Roanoke, a Sci-Fi channel original flick today. I wanted to see it for two reasons. The first is that I've always found the story of the Lost Colony of Roanoke to be a fascinating historical mystery. To have an entire group of people vanish without a trace is chilling. The other is that I am a big fan of Adrian Paul.

The movie itself isn't so bad, explaining that the colony was killed off by vengful ghosts (I am a sucker for a good ghost story). I was a bit disappointed to see that Adrian Paul has shaved his chest it seems. During the entire movie I was on the look out for the fur and it wasn't forthcoming. At his age (48), I'm guessing it could be going gray. I just hate that he's following the trend of Jeremy Piven, who is shaving I bet to look younger.

Gah ... I *heart* Adrian Paul.

*drool*

It seems I recall you telling me this once or twice... or a few dozen times... in the past :)

He looks great, I'd have never guessed he was nearly 50 years old.

John and I used to drool over Jeremy on Ellen. I've never seen Entourage, so I haven't experienced his manscaping there.

It's not manscaping if it's missing. He had some goofy show about far away places on the Discovery Channel and he was shirtless.. and the chest was bald!

... I think it's a crime... or at least it should be.

Something about those dark eyes just makes me melt! Sigh... :)

Hey! It's cousin Adrian! ;) (I wish. That's what they called him at the comic shop when I'd go to Highlander cons as my last name is pronounced like Paul.) I've been a fan since the Highlander TV show and even have his autograph.
