Cincinnati Movie Bears Get ... "Knocked Up"

This month's Cincinnati Movie Bears' outing took us to see Knocked Up at the AMC on the Levee.

After a young E! network employee named Alison (Heigl) gets her promotion to be on-air talent, she and her sister go out to party and celebrate. After meeting a cute, but bumbling Ben Stone (Rogen), the two get wasted and end up sleeping together sans condom after a misunderstanding in the heat of the moment. When Alison ends up pregnant, she contacts Ben to see how to make this work as she wants to keep the baby. Insert the meddling sister and her husband, two precocious nieces, and Ben's gang of hemp-enhanced friends and lots of funny stuff happens. The movie is very funny and the story is very entertaining. There is a lot of shirtless furry Rogen for admiration and some female nudity for those interested in it.

Did I enjoy the movie? Very much.
Would I see it again? Yes.
Buy the DVD? Yes.

I saw that on a date last night. Such a sweet movie, yet hysterically funny. And yeah, seeing Rogan shirtless (and pantless) so much was rather enjoyable...

Mike and I saw that movie last night too - in fact we almost wound up at the same theatre as you did, but went to another instead. I wonder if I would have seen the whole crowd of bear guys and figured out what kind of group outing it was?

that was an awesome movie! it wasn't what I expected - I was expecting more of a slapstick comedy - but it was really very good. Much more realistic than I expected.

I stopped going to movies in theatres about a year ago, but temporarily put that on hiatus to go see this one on the big screen.

Just a tad too long, but still very enjoyable.

I had guessed that the female nudity was fast approaching, given the circumstances of the scene.

LOL... I love the earthquake scene when they're all waiting to see what happens outside. And the naked breasts wont hurt ya, as long as you don't touch them. :)

I had forgotten the exposed breast after the earthquake. I was still focused on Jason Segel's nudity at that point.
