Double-Header Night
Tonight's games went fairly well. We played the "Gyles & Dolls" team first. I had some pretty decent hits and played the entire game. We finished the game something like 17-5. The Gyles team is pretty fun and enjoyed the game.
The second game was not so sweet. We were playing pretty well and I was having one of my best batting games ever. I jacked one well into right field, much to the astonishment of my entire team, but sadly the outfielder managed to catch it. I hit two other really good shots, only to be caught by an overzealous shortstop, who really shouldn't have caught the last one, that bitch... We had a four run lead until the fifth or sixth inning when things fell apart and the other team, Adonis, managed to earn 11 runs. We caught back up, but lost by one run when they batted last. It was a good game, but I have to admit that I hate their fans. There is one guy with an airhorn and another with a cowbell. I'd love to take his airhorn, shove it up his @$$ and fire it off. I don't mind losing, but annoying fans are just... well.. annoying.
On the positive side, a very cute bear named Randy bought me a soda between the games. Apparently, my Titans tee shirt makes me rather fetching (hee hee...)
No game next week due to the holiday weekend. Off to a busy week in the Cleveland area again tomorrow morning... sigh... I'd love to stay home....
