Chili Cook-Off Results

Holy peppers, Batman, I won!!!!

I got in from my current audit to find out that I had somehow miraculously won the chili contest at work. It must have been better than I thought! He's an excerpt from the winner announcement email...

"And your winners are .....(drum roll) ...... Mark (FIRST PLACE) and **my lovely coworker whose name I withheld** (FIRST LOSER). Please take time to congratulate them both. For the record, this is Mark's first attempt at cooking chili. He has never made chili before and believe me, from what he said this morning, I don't think he will be able to duplicate his recipe."

Should I ask for "World Peace" in my acceptance email??

It actually was pretty good. I was as surprised as anyone.

wow, I'm so impressed! But damn you people who make good food and can't come up with a recipe to duplicate it... lol... one of my co-workers does that all the time.

LOL! I can honestly say that I inheirited this bizarre talent. My grandmother could mix all sorts of junk together and it magically come out tasting like fine cuisine. Whenever I asked for a recipe, my mom would nudge me and just say that there wasn't one.
