No Service for the Naked
I'm working out of the office this week. While gassing up the car in a nearby college town, I saw this sign on the gas station door. I wonder how often they've had to turn people away for the second reason...

I'm not sure if I have allergies or the beginnings of a summer cold, but the latter part of the holiday weekend was miserable -- stopped up sinuses, splitting headaches, and a sore throat. I took Tuesday off to recuperate. Ugh! Luckily, I got the carpets shampooed on Friday and Saturday before feeling poorly. What an exciting weekend that was.

I know others have posted it, but I'm sorry that Steve Irwin, the Crocodile Hunter, died. That "Crikey" thing was annoying at times, but I respected him (and he was kinda cute too). After all the death-defying things he did for conservation exposure, it was strange that a sort of "one-in-a-million" accident is what killed him.

It's going to be long days through Friday.. ugh...
