Friday Queries -- All About the Girls...

In light of the rather heated debate from the "Wonder Woman vs Bionic Woman" question from a few weeks back, I thought I might pose a few questions about other ladies in the news and media and see what the mass reactions are like. Ready, Set.. Go :)

1. Controversy can be fun, if you care, so who is being the worse dirt-flinger in The View upset, Star Jones-Reynolds or Barbara Walters?
   
2. Who was the better screen diva, Bette Davis or Joan Crawford?
   
3. Who will be most likely to appear on The Surreal Life Season 10, Britney Spears, Jessica Simpson, Paris Hilton, or Nicole Richie?
   
4. Better harmony, SheDaisy or Dixie Chicks?
   
5. Best drag by a straight guy -- Milton Berle, Flip Wilson (Geraldine), Tyler Perry (Medea), or Robin Williams (Euphegenia Doubtfire)?

My Answers

1. Personally, I think Star is handling it worse, making herself out to be the victim in what seems to me to be a purely business issue. The show's producers decided not to go with her next season, she should have bowed out gracefully. In reality, I don't care that much.
   
2. Bette Davis!!!
   
3. I think Britney is on her way out, especially with kid #2 on the way. In reality, again, I don't think I care :)
   
4. I love the Chicks, but I have to admit that I like SheDaisy's harmony better.
   
5. I'll always carry a soft spot in my heart for Geraldine. I loved Flip Wilson.

holy rewind batman. I won first place at a Cub Scout Halloween party as Geraldine Jones. Like they didn't know I was gay then???

And I agree with you on the Dixie Chicks vs SheDaisy. For the exact same reason.

1. I think they both need to let it go and move on, already.
2. Bette Davis. Joan was a good actress when she wanted to be, but girl had more issues than Newsweek.
3. Couldn't give a damn about any of them. But Britney had really better start investing her money wisely, because she's DONE.
4. I'd side with the Chicks.

aND, btw, Tyler Perry is about as "straight" as a crate of Rotini pasta.

1) I have to say that Star Jones brought alot of bad press on herself. Her sponsored wedding had alot to do with it.
2) On screen Diva...Bette Davis, Off screen would have to go to Joan Crawford.
3) I would have to say Nichole Richie. She has nothing else going for her.
4) Dixie Chicks, Dixie Chicks, Dixie Chicks!
5) I miss Flip Wilson, his show was great.
