Sitting at the Airport

As far as airports go, CVG has always been a good one. It has decent restaurants and shopping to keep you entertained until the flight shows up in my opinion. I'm here for the next hour myself. I paid the high price for connectivity to pass the time.

Strangely, I'm not really looking forward to this week in Colorado. I'm not sure what it is. Is it the timing? The reason (a training class)? I have no idea, but my usual exuberance at traveling for work has escaped me this trip. I also hate surrendering a weekend to get ready for travel -- spending the day doing laundry and packing and then sitting at the airport on Sunday. I also hate missing my softball game Monday :(

And to top it all off, I've left BOTH cameras at home. I was going to take my smaller one to pack light and left it in the glovebox of the car. I'm reduced to hopefully garnering a few decent shots with my phone. And the real shame is that I've been surrounded by cute bears and cubs since I got to this airport. I'm being punished.. I just know it....

That's one thing that I don't miss - airports for work.

The really sad part is that I had it on my checklist of things to make sure I got... and I even checked it off in antici... pation.. :)

Every time I travel I always see cute cubs and bears in the pairport. I used to think they lived there. [grin]

Have a safe trip. I hope you get to enjoy some of your trip. Maybe you can buy a cheap throw away camera. At least you will have the pictures. Talk with you when you get back. Bghairyman
