Good Neighbors

I got up this morning and went to the local batting cage. My first softball game is Monday night and I wanted to see how bad my swing had gotten. I waved to my new neighbor next door who was mowing his yard on my way out and spent 15 minutes hitting (which is alot for continuous batting). With it growing overcast, I thought I should race home and mow mine.

As I pulled in my driveway, I thought the grass looked shorter.. and it was. My new neighbor had mowed the front and side yard of my house for me! How cool is that! His name is Jeff, the proud papa of a new baby boy, and damn cute in his own right. He's a gamer, playing some shoot-em-up games online, and mowed mine as he thought it might rain before I could get back. I love neighbors like him. :)

Well, my neighbors generally keep to themselves, so this was surprising to me.

That is very cool. I have great neighbors too, but they haven't mowed my yard yet! But I haven't mowed theirs either.


I hope we can come out and see you play some night. I think that would be a blast. You have to tell me where you are playing!

We're playing at the fields in Miamitown, where 74 and 275 meet on the west side of town.
