A Day for Me...

After a week on the road and a very busy weekend, I decided to take the day off and do some house stuff and run some errands. The highlights of the day are as follows:

• I went to Gold's Gym this morning and took a spinning class. An hour of that has left my legs very sore. They'll ache tomorrow.
  
• Talked with the ever-handsome susobear on the phone while he was waiting for his post-TBRU flight home to England. He's so dreamy...
  
• Had lunch at Chipotle.. yum!
  
• Picked up my new contacts at my optometrist's office. Had to charge them because their credit card machine wouldn't read my debit card. Grrrr!
  
• Took my rimless glasses to Lenscrafters for a tightening. The cute goatee-wearing guy (and I suspect gay) looked them over and said that they were perfectly fine. He congratulated me for taking care of them and slapped me on the shoulder.. sigh...
  
• Visited Suncoast again. All remaining DVD's were 50% off. I found a couple of cheap horror flicks for $5 each.
  
• I saw the grayish-blue haired guy that need_2_chat and I saw at Barnes & Noble Friday night. I'd swear he was wearing the same clothes.

I used to go spinning all the time. Not sure why I stopped. It's a grueling cardio workout, but it will whip you into shape fast.

I plan to do it again, but the times the classes are held aren't always convenient for me :(

Oh no, this wasn't the cute daddy bear that I beckoned to me with my mind (which still didn't work, by the way).

This was the grayish blue haired (and somewhat blonde) heavy set kid with the cut offs and ratty clothes that we spotted. We were wondering which color was the natural one.

Oh him! Yikes...I'm not surprised he was wearing the same thing. He was a bit odd looking and I think that's being polite!

I took a spinning class once and loved it. Unfortunately, I didn't join that gym. And they gym I did join does not have spinning.


Suncoast? DVD 50% off? Are they going out of business?!?!

I have thought about spinning again.. though my legs ache this morning...

I thought I had posted the Suncoast deal before. They are going out of business, not sure when is the last day. The one at Florence Mall is closing for sure and I've heard that others are on their way too. They were down to 50% off yesterday, but pickings were slim. The only thing they had left were newer releases (which at half off were now down to prices you could find at most department stores) and the cheap stuff.
