New Infomercials

Okay, it's really sad that I recognize new infomercials. When you get up as early as I do, I often find myself flipping through channels in the morning, seeing the same junk being hocked. This morning I noted a few new ones have been added.

Super buff Christopher Knight (aka Peter Brady) is now selling the AB Lounge, lying there on the tilting thingee shirtless, doing sit-ups. I have to admit, he's got a nice chest and abs. It may actually increase sales.

The other is the more disturbing one. Ron Jeremy, furry porn star, is now endorsing an "all-natural male enhancement" called Extenze. I find this one odd because Jeremy is known for having a large endowment anyway. Apparently, the promotional stuff has the top ten male porn stars stating that they use the junk. I wonder if that kind of endorsement would encourage guys to buy it? The stuff is crap though, it's a scam to get your credit card number to charge it for the next 30 day sample, whether you want it or not. The guy who does the "Smiling Bob" Enzyte version is in deep right now for doing that.

Save your money, buy comic books, DVD's, or dirty movies instead.

I've watched the Christopher Knight infomercial. But have not caught the Ron Jeremy one.
I have to admit that many an early morning, I've watched my fair share of infomercials. But I've never bought anything.

Oh I can't do it. I catch that one about "Natural Cures" every so often. That guy is an idiot, in my opinion.

I think of all the other things in the world I need to spend my money on and any impulse buys just fade away. :)

As for Mr. Jeremy......hey....he's making a living. The fact that to this day he STILL makes porn movies.....and he is a smart cookie...he invests his money! I had a major thing for him when I was younger...and he was younger....

If you want to see Chris shirtless, just find this informercial, he's in nothing but his gym shorts and shoes. He's got a nice body, but not enough fur for my taste.

And in the late 1980's, Ron Jeremy was a major crush for me. My twin and I used to get porn movies from the local video store where my sister-in-law was the manager. I always selected his movies, my twin drools over the chicks while I secretly pined over him. Whew.. in the day, he was HOT!

And I have seen Barry Williams hocking the 1970's music collection. Actually, some of the songs are pretty good.

Yeah....Ron was a hottie in his youth...I think if he trimmed he mop a bit he would still be good looking, but that stringy long hair just doesn't work.

When he was younger he was damn fine...and ya know...he could actually act...and he was funny....and damn that tool of his!! Shame he never did gay porn......

I am seriously considering that set that Barry Williams is hocking though

Well, I think Ron could be hot, if he would cut his hair, grow a beard, and stop "sculpting" his chest and belly fur. Did you watch him on The Surreal Life? His has this "line" of fur from chest to wherever, but it looks so weird with his huge tummy.

The man is not an idiot, but his appearance is a far cry from the days I used to fawn over him.

Actually there are some great songs on the set, but I avoid Time Life. My mom used to get things from them, and had a heck of a time getting them to STOP sending her stuff after she had canceled. Though, that was 20 years ago or so.

Yeah I did see him on The Surreal Life. He was funny...and who would have thought that he and Tammy Faye would strike up a friendship?

Nope...he definitely isn't an idiot...he knows not to take himself too seriously and he stayed away from the drugs and booze and all that bad stuff...aside from food...apparently he REALLY likes to eat. Oh...and from what I heard he is really cheap when it comes to himself....but when it comes to his friends he basically will empty his wallet and pockets if they need help.

I've seen him in person once, but didn't get to meet him. He was signing his latest video release at the Hustler Hollywood store in Monroe, OH. I've heard he's a really nice guy in person.

LOL.. true enough... the chick getting banged in front of the camera really could care less as long as she gets paid.

They had this one lady there, an "actress" as they put it, who had been with "just under 1000 guys" about how much size mattered. She was the stupidest person, giggling like a school girl trying to use big words. Like you could take anything she said seriously. As far as informercials go, it is pretty sad.

That Ron Jeremy infomercial isn't new. They've showed it here for over a year now, and I still cringe.
I haven't seen the Christopher Knight one.

The other night when I went to bed, (at about 4 A.M.), Michael rolled over and said "Put the tv on VH1. I don't want those people trying to sell me 'that ladder' again."
(That ladder that folds up to make scaffolding, a step ladder, and 18 other combinations of laddery things)

I'm OVER the girls gone wild commercials too. I mean I'm not sure how they make money with them having to spend so much money for their infomercials to be aired. Oh, wait! They too wanna charge people for the next video and the next one and the next one...whether you want it or not.
