You're a wonder, Wonder Woman!
Today was a pretty good one, all things considered. I slept in a bit late, which felt so great. Got up and fought the traffic to work with only a few "F**king idiot!" comments being thrown.
Was pretty busy and pretty productive, which is always a winning combination to me. Got thanked for some cartooning work I did for a friend with an offer for a free lunch, which I never turn down. What can I say, I'm cheap and easy! ;)
The highlight of the day was getting to spend some time with a new friend of mine. Billy is the boyfriend of a friend. He's super funny. We went out to grab a bite at Chipotle, which I now consider one of my favorite restaurants now. Afterwards we were going to see a movie, but missed all of the movie times by about 15 minutes. So we ended up at his place to watch "Wonder Woman".
He and I are both big fans of the 1970's hit with Lynda Carter. So campy and dated, "Wonder Woman" was one of my favorites as a child and I still love watching her twirl and change in a big starburst of light. Embarrassing, sure, but what can I say, he and I are geeks :D His boyfriend Patryk just rolls his eyes at us I'm sure.
Well, I'm off to bed and hopefully will get an early start tomorrow. I'm debating on whether to go home to see the folks this weekend or not. Let me see how work goes tomorrow before I decide.

...And Chipotle is awesome! Got hooked on it in DC and now the closest one to me is about 30 miles away :(
