Summer Cold Day Two...

.. wasn't much more fun than day one. I woke up with full sinuses and a headache. If I'd been drinking, I'd know the reason. I called in sick and drove to Kroger's for some Nyquil and Dayquil.

I spent the day just relaxing, going from hot to cold feelings and back while the temperature of the house didn't change. By mid-afternoon, I was feeling better and then the Dayquil wore off tonight.

I called Mom to make sure that she wasn't sick either. Thankfully, she's doing okay, but then she offered to come up here and take care of me. The little kid in me likes the idea, but the adult in me knows I have to cope solo. Plus, I don't want to get Mom sick.

Well, two shots of Nyquil and I'm hoping for the best.

On a completely unrelated note, I see Kroger's as synonymous with the infamous fruit pastry pies I had in Atlanta 8 months ago and I can instantly recall the flavour.

I'm craving them now.
