Traveling Day to New Ross
New Ross is a very small town, took a long bus ride to get here, and got dropped off 15 minutes from the hotel which is actually pretty cool, but very isolated. I think this is the type of place people go to for getting away from everything. The walk up the very steep driveway nearly killed me, especially since I was dragging my luggage along with me.
Only dial-up internet access in the rooms, so posting will be limited this week. Also, the internet access they "provide" in the lobby is for payment. Two F*CKING Euro for ten minutes (that's about $3.50), so I'll not be using this crazy service but this once. What a ripoff! I'll hope they have an internet cafe in town while I'm playing tourist tomorrow.
Well, at least they show Cartoon Network here... My next hotel has WIFI, so things will be better there.

I still think that the charge for internet in the hotel is a joke. I wondered why no one was using it... now I know.

Of course, you could always claim you're taking Dave's approach ... "Two Euros ... holy crap, that means it's four thousand dollars US!"

I am in town right now and will likely head to St. Mary's while I'm here. The ship you're talking about, Dunbrody, unfortunately is sailing right now. It left June 27th and wont be back until July 10th. I was actually looking forward to seeing it.. sigh... :(
