Too Much Information

It seems like this weekend is mine for running into old classmates. While shopping at Kroger's (because the twin rarely has any real food in his house), I ran into Sissy, with whom I went to high school. She's the chronic hypochondriac, always something wrong with her. I worked with her at a department store and she always got the cushy position because she was ill or hurt. Don't get me wrong, we've always been okay, but no one could have all of her problems without being dead by now.

She came up to me and gave me a hug, probably catching some germ that will give her chronic health problems that she can blame on me. She then starts to tell me about her new job and how she's applied to the UK pharmacy program. I'm surprised because this is good news for a change.

She then tells me that she had to take a term off because of her bad back and her hysterectomy.

Ummm... yeah.... ewwww...

I hope the other part of your reunion, wasn't as nauseating. ;-)

Incidentally, I have noticed your use of Leonard and Larry icons. Are you also a big fan?

Cool, I believe that Tim Barela is an absolute genius. By the way, in your opinion, is Kentucky part of the South or the Midwest?

Well, by vitue of behavior and other things, I have to consider KY the northernmost southern state.

Yes, I really love his work. When I first found out about it, on a Rush-oriented website, by a guy who went by the name of rushbear1; I was thoroughly impressed. I have all 4 of his books. I really like the characters Jeff and Sonny from book #3- they were definitely eye candy, and very much on my particular wavelength, especially Jeff. Woof. I also like the way that Tim Barela makes it humourous, but yet very wholesome.

Oh yeah, the general theme of L&L would be on the border of a PG-13 movie, no real nudity (an occasional butt maybe) and it concentrates so much on zany humor than anything overly sexual.

I became so enamored with the strip, I searched for an original. I love original comic book art and found this one on eBay, matted and framed, my pride and joy.

OMFG - can pharmacists prescribe drugs for themselves?

She'd be the type who would likely abuse it, I'm sorry to say. Can you imagine telling this kind of thing to a friend you went to high school with?

"I'd have been here sooner, but I had to have my prostate examined this morning. All is well"

Ugh...

LOL, I'd prolly ask if she needed a cigarette after that.

Ah, but YOU know who I am talking about, right?? She was sure to remind me that Jennie (who had the major crush on me senior year) is working at Wally World Layaway and to stop by and see her....

... not if my life depended on it.

Thank you for your sympathy.. ;)

Yep ... I know who you're talking about (the Bon Jonvi denim jacket are seared in my memory). =)

But I'm not placing Jennie ... I've finally hit that moment in life when you can't remember someone you went to high school with. Hmmm .. if only you could SELECT that person. ;)

Ah, I had forgotten the "Bon Jovi" jacket! LOL!

Jennie was in Journalism class with us, red hair, freckles, glasses.. she joined to get close to me apparently... ugh!
