Trying to Build Momentum
I have been strangely low on energy and creativity this week. It doesn't help that my poor co-worker who just came back from maternity leave said that the "plague" has hit her home this past weekend. Her newborn son has pink eye, then her toddler daughter got a stomach bug, which was then passed to her husband... and then her. Today, she IM'd me to let me know that she and her husband now both have pink eye and would be out. Yikes.
So I've been picking up the slack and really pushing myself at work, getting more done this week in terms of volume than I think I ever have. By the time I get home, I can barely squeeze in a workout and I just want to crash on the couch.
Part of it may be the savings time shift, the fact that it gets dark so early. I rushed home yesterday to get the remainder of the leaves up from the yard, as I only had two hours of daylight left.
I keep hoping that I'll get some pep back, but it seems to be hard to break the inertia.
