Five Questions for Wednesday
I know this stuff is usually reserved for Fridays, but it's a good hump day activity too.
1. What was your worst job?
The worst for me was waiting tables at a nice hotel restaurant while in college. I did it during my freshman year and it was tough to be nice and gracious with snooty customers while going through the stresses of getting accustomed to college.
2. To steal a line from TV Guide, what is "The Best Show on TV You're Not Watching" on TV today in your opinion?
Gilmore Girls on the WB. It has great writing and the actors have good chemistry. Plus the guy who plays Luke is really cute. ;)
3. What year of your life would you repeat thus far?
The year I turned 21 (1994). It was my last semester in college and the year I started working. Lots of changes were involved and it was a great year. Not that I handled things too badly, but I think I could have handled them better knowing what I know now.
4. What is your defining "I am now an adult" moment?
The day I bought my house. It was the biggest thing I ever bought, solely on my own, with no help from anyone. I didn't have any friends to be there with me, no real parental advice, etc. No hand holding, just me. And it all turned out great!
5. You are in college, money is not a problem and you are guaranteed a high-paying, successful salaried job when you graduate. What is your major?
Graphic design/Art or English. I went for the Chemistry major because I did enjoy it and I knew I could make a decent living at it, but I love to read and I love to draw, so they would be the two I would pick from if the fantasy above were true.
