Weekend Recaps and Dreary Mondays

The weekend was pretty okay, nothing extraordinary in most respects. I spoke with my best friend Brian who lives in Colorado for an hour and a half last night. He just had surgery on his rotator cuff in his shoulder. Ouch! He's laid up for a couple of weeks as he can't do much with it. His mom flew out to help him for a while. At least he has good drugs to help ease the pain.

I finally bought my DVD's last night with my Amazon gift certificate. I ended up getting Eddie Izzard Dressed to Kill and Circle, after getting a good recommendation from bleuvalentines's friend Lara. I also bought a second copy of Stripperella, Season One, to give to my brother, who I think will get a kick out of it.

Work is a bit messed up. My boss told me to stay in on Monday as he and I needed to go over some stuff, but then he left for Louisville today, with a note on my desk saying we'd go over the paperwork tomorrow instead. Ugh! He's messed up my schedule for the week doing this.

Oh well.. as I've heard from so many.. the pay is the same.
