The Ring Two and New Movie Theaters
It was nice to wake up with absolutely no plans. It was just a day of any possibilities. The twin and I had a rip-roaring farting contest in the morning, so everything is as it should be here for us. What can I say? We're a bit twisted.
I went over to Mom's to drool over my quilt some more and then to my sister's, where she and I decided to go see The Ring Two. With my poor brother-in-law, JB, in tow, we went to our hometown's new movie theater, stadium seating and no sticky floors (yet). The movie was pretty good. Naomi Watts is such a good actress, I really am growing to like her. There were some great jump-worthy scenes and the plot was pretty coherent I thought. It's on a par with the first one, but I don't see it as better.
Three cell phones went off in the theater, mine being one of them, luckily set to vibrate mode. One of the other two was my brother-in-law's that rang out loud. Both calls was my twin, who knew we were at the movies, but had to call and tell JB that he had bought him a case of beer. Sometimes it's the little things that remind me how red the twin's neck really is.
After dinner, I went back to Mom's to help with the quilt some more. I'm finding that the process is relatively easy, but very time consuming. I'm actually contemplating buying a sewing machine. I've never used one, but I'm thinking it's time I learned how, especially while Mom is active enough and willing to teach me.
