kybearfuzzThe day started with mowing the yard and cleaning the house, in preparation for my mom's visit today. She's visiting her in-laws with her hubby. Apparently, this weekend, I am just the hotel. If I sound bitter, I guess I am a little. Jealous, I mean. She never comes up to see me specifically and that bugs me. Ah well.... I love her, so I'll keep my mouth shut.
I got my hair cut really short for my impending business trip to Canada and Italy. I leave next Saturday, it's hard to believe. I went and bought a scale to help monitor the old diet a bit, and then got an oil change.
I hate getting an oil change. They can't just change the oil and leave me be. They act like Am Way people, recommending a flush of this, use of this gas treatment, this higher grade oil, etc. Geez! Just change the damn oil to what I ask for and go away. I don't blame the guys really, they are only doing their job, but I would love to know how many people take them up on these recommendations.
